MODES OF PAYMENT
Making payment by credit card in Poland constitutes no problem (both major cities as well as in small towns). Among accepted payment cards you’ll find: Visa Card, MasterCard, Diners Club, American Express, EuroCard.
Polish zloty (PLN) is a legal tender.

- Coins (1,2,5 złoty; 1,2,5,10,20,50 groszy).
- Banknotes (10,20,50,100,200 złotych).
APPROXIMATE PRICES
- Average price for the meal in a restaurant (depends on kind)- 20-80 zł.
- Beer (0,5 l) – 6-15 zł.
- Drink – 15-25 zł.
- Bottle of water (1 l.) 2,50-4 zł.
- Coffee- 8-12 zł.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
It is possible to travel with the following modes of transport:
- by underground
- by tram

TICKETS
- Normal single ticket (2,80 PLN), concessionary (1,40 PLN), outside Warsaw borders (4,20 PLN).
- Twenty-four hour normal ticket (9 PLN), twenty-four hour concessionary ticket (4,50 PLN)
- Three-day normal ticket (16 PLN), three-day concessionary ticket (8 PLN).
- One-week normal ticket (32 PLN), one-week , one-week concessionary ticket (16 PLN)

Shops, museums, cinemas are open:
- Big groceries: 8.30-23.00 (Monday to Friday), 9.00-21.00 (weekends)
- Malls: 10.00-22.00 (Monday to Friday), 10.00-21.00 (weekends)
- Museums: there are no standard opening hours.
